The Cycles Return

Today brings us a Full Moon, a Total Eclipse, and Elections in the United States.
It’s a big day. Below is a poem I wrote a long time ago and thought it fitting for a day like today. 

Let the Moonlight find you
Let the Moonlight stream through you
And then catch its ebbing wave through your senses.

There is no shortage of time
The cycles return.
There is no ending in sight
The story is still full of plots.
This is the long stretch of the road
Lit by the turning moon and her light.

Take up your mantle
Wear it like the crown it is
Share what hums in its shimmer.
